Anyone responsible for 1,000 to 1,000,000 bottles loses control of it eventually. They know approximately what they own, rarely how many, almost never where.
Excel files, a paper cellar book, an old desktop program, or an app built to rate wine rather than run a stock: none of them show where a bottle actually is.
The result: annual inventories that eat a weekend, bottles found ten years past their drinking window, duplicate purchases, and a cellar value nobody can state.
The cellar map
Vivistok models the cellar itself: zones, racks, columns, precise slots. Each location carries a location code, printed from a label sheet.
Scan a location code and Vivistok opens exactly what should be there. A bottle is added, moved or removed in a couple of taps, and every movement stays in history.
A photo of a label, a voice note, or three words identify a wine and fill in domaine, cuvée, vintage, grapes and appellation, matched against a reference dataset of 20,000 wines.
